1. I have asked Mrs. o make a survey of the files
urrently held by TAB to determine Yost documents are available
ilment of requests for training materials for overseas
use, 1 am passing these lists to you first, in order that you
screen theme, and have suggested appropriate division and
branch chiefs to whom they might be submitted for review.
2, What I would like to achieve is a statement that the
documents currently held by TAB are current, suitable for overseas
training purposes under certain conditions, and that there is no
other document available within TA(a) which supersedes or which
appropriately treats the subject. If you or any of the
branch or division chiefs have in your possession more recent
material or more appropriate material? please indicate by title.
You will note also that these lists indicate the master
eoDles available within TAB. As requests for this material are
the foreign divisions, it will quickly become necei
reproduce documents of which we now have only one or
possibly two copies. Before undertaking such reproduction I think
should assure ourselves that the document is a useful one, that
expressed is sound, and that we do not have in other
ent and more usable material treating the saw
sub ject*

and in getting a survey completed at the earliest possible date.
