Memorandum signed by the Deputy for Field Activities, OSA, dated June 1964, establishing a requirement for D/FA weekend duty officer is rescinded effective this date. 2. Division Chiefs will assure that his division is covered if weekend requirements are anticipated. 3. Request the Chief, Communications Division, OSA, provide a copy of this memorandum to the Signal Center and initiate procedures for the Signal Center to notify person- nel within the applicable division if the Control Center is not manned. If the Control Center is manned, message t::affic should be passed to the Control Center for proper notification. 4.
