Systems Availability: Attached is the Systems Availability Report. STAT 2. received a letter of appreciation from the Agency's Federal Woman's Program Board for her contri- butions while serving as ODP's representative during the last STAT two years. 3. Three new disk drives and a controller were installed on the GIMPROD system on 15 August. These drives will be used for projected growth on the GIMPROD system during the remainder STAT of FY-81. I STAT STAT STAT 4. The GIMS budget data bases were opened up to the Agency Budget Officers for udating on 11 August. This is for the OMB 5. Software has been developed to support the Design 100 terminal as a local printer, and testing is now being done in ISB. The software permits a 1200 baud line speed and uses forward/reverse printing to increase the effective speed. The software is available for use by any interested offices on a test basis. Demonstrations have been scheduled for two NFAC offices. STAT 6. A tour of the Ruffing Center was given to 20 Intelligence Community personnel on Thursday, 13 Au ust. The tour was in compliance with a request made by STAT OTE. 7. ACF2 was implemented on the Tape Management System (TMS) on Wednesday, 12 August. A minimal amount of user and procedural problems have been encountered. In the Ruffing Center on Wednesay, JES lost 165 minutes and Batch 75 minutes due to CDC disk controller problems. Later, COLTS lost 150 minutes at starting due to a JES software problem, and GIMDEV lost 80 minutes due to a Telex disk error. Early Thursday, JES lost 87 minutes due to more CDC controller problems. The rest of the week was relatively free of significant applications outages. In the Special Center, CAMS again experienced the major problems. Forty-three minutes were lost when a Telex disk drive error caused a JES ABEND on Wednesday. Thursday, CAMS was not available for 160 minutes, when a user damaged the CAMS data base. There were relatiyP_Xy minor problems with the other applications STAT tis week.
