Details o: the 1951, deliveries under the 1951 trade agreement between
Finland and Bul,.uria were agreed or in Moscow 31 January 1953.
Under these terns, Finland wil.1 import from Bulgaria during 1953 the
following types of commodit ter.. wheat, rice, vetch, crished oil seed, to-
bacr_o, spices, tomato ~:orr_?entrate `catchup', medicinal plants, opium, oil
extract of mint, sausage lacings, hog; bristles, tanned skins and hides,
narbamide (46. < percent. t . granulated ammonium nitrate (92.2 and 34.5 Percent),
sodium nitrate, eypsuu. fluuoride, kaolin, combed linen and hemp, linen and
cotton rag, and silk cloth.
Finnish export, to Bulgaria will lnclud_ various machines, instruments,
and other meta; products, in addition to racer products, pressed wallboard,
chemical product and pharmaceuticals.
Terms of the 153 agreement aetween Finland and West Germany were signed
in Bonn 4 February 19;3. Alti,uu.?h Finnish =ports and exports were each esti-
mated at 120 dollars to toe 1952 agreement, her exports to West Germany
amounted to only ;;bon: half of this, f ignire. Therefore, in the 1953 agreement,
Finland's exports are .-;Hinted at 56 mi]liar, dollars, and her imports from
West Germany at 4; mtil:o: dollars,
The 1arge,t item of Finnish exports to West Germany cont:tsts of unproces-
sed furs, rEinr?aer skins., and raw htder.,, with a total value of 500,000 dollars.
Other export. item=: in'ludc kraft Paper, paper and cardboard products, 150,000
dollars, veneer, :.00,000 dollars, metal products, 100,000 dollars. Expressed
in quantities, Finnish exports include the following. plywood, 25,000 cubic
meters, pressed board and cardboard, 15,000 tons, and printing and writing paper,
8,000 tons.

Finnish 1mpor.te from West Germany will include the following items,
expressed either 1u quantities or value-,, coke, 100,000 tons; coal, 40,000
tons; steel, 100,000 tons in various forms, including ship plate and cold
rolled plate; strsctural steel, machinery, parts, and spare parts, 9,400,000
dollars; industrial electric machinery and equipment, 4 million dollars; mild
steel and eheet-metal products, such as spare parts for bicycles, 2,150,000
dollars;, inorganic chemicals, 1,700,000 dollars; and chemical products, 7 mil-
lion dollars.,
