This increase appears to be in the shape of naval and air bases in addition to the growing number of smaller weapons and Cuban troops. I am requesting a briefing from the Central Intelligence Agency to substantiate these increases, and the development of Soviet bases in Angola. Your assistance in providing me with this information will be greatly appreciated. With best wishes, I remain SinC RICHARD T.
