letter which had been forwarded to Representative Leslie Arends in which
STAT one a former special forces officer with service
in Thailand, alleges that CIA was making gifts of Mercedes Benz automobiles
and wrist watches. After checking with thel I advised
Mr. Blandford that we knew of no basis for such a story.
