The Director exhibited various publications including the President's check list, a memorandum on Vietnam, and discussed the CIB and exhibited the NIS on China. The Director explained how these were pulled together and disseminated. The Director then exhibited our budget book discussing the long-range plan and the management and planning mechanisms which assist him in managing the Agency. He pointed out the discussions with Mr. Schultze of the Bureau of the Budget on the Agency budget and planning mechanisms. He stated that this book was held by Bill Darden and was available at any time. The Director was very specific that we would like to be of assistance to Senator Young at any time he had any needs.
