The Agency has received a Freedom of Information Act request,
from an organization known as Ground Saucer Watch, for all information
we have on UFOs . This letter written by you in 1961 was one of the
documents surfaced. Unfortunately, I do not know how we carne to h nve
it. It can, with your permission, be released to the group or we can
identify it and request the organization to seek it from Congress.
Frank Hamill, Counsel of the House Committee on Science and
Technology, has said the Committee does not object to the release
of the letter. Since he knew that you were still in the city, he sugge:;ted
that we contact you also about its release.
