Over the past two years, I of your staff pro-
vi;ded valuable assistance to my predecessor, Dr. Harold Horan.,
as a member of the Strategic Weapons Advisory Panel. We have
recently organized a similar advisory group as the Penetration
Panel of the Defense Science Board. I would very much appreciate
it if it were possible for to continue to give us
the benefit of his background and sound Judgment as an advisor to
this new panel. The demands on his time should be minimal,
probably amounting to five or six days this year.
