today in what was apparently
a plunge from the'roof of the
seven-story Idaho Terrace,
Apartments where he lived.
The victim .was Archibald S.I
Deas, 68, who lived. in apart-
ment 422 of the spacious modern
building at, 3040 Idaho avenue)

a.m. that his body was lying one
the one-story garage roof at they
rear of the'apartment buildings

Since the apartment he shared
with his wife, Claire, is at an-
other side of the building, De-
tective Sergt. Lionel Couture,
said Mr. Deasprobably dropped
from the roof.
