1. I made the matter of my employment in
the Agency a matter of record in the Preface to
this second edition. The Preface itself with
this sentence was cleared up and down the line
shortly before you came into your present job.
2. The matter of my title, I imagine they
got from Who's Who, and the unfortunate phrasing
of the key sentence I suspect was their own idea.
