As Attachment B to this memorandum you will find the DDSF,T responses to those problem statements which you submitted as part of the FY 1982 RDF,E Planning Cycle. You will also note that in some cases the DDS&T did not respond 2. Attachment A contains several DDS&T memos sent to me, which will help to explain the approach taken this year by the DDS~T Planning and Resources Staff. Attachment C contains copies of your problem statements that relate to these DDSFT proposals. In some cases the DDSFTT has lumped several DDA tabs together and addressed them with multiple System/Technology proposals. When ranking these, consider only your problem statement and how well the proposed pro- gram addresses the problem. The end result of your efforts should be a list (1 thru n) showing the effectiveness of the various solutions without regard for the original ranking of the problem statement. In other words, it is possible that a highly ranked problem could have a poor solution response causing it to be ranked well below that of a good response 25X1 to-a lower-ranked problem =T Confidential When Detached from Attachments Approve or Release 2003/09/04: CIA-RDP83-00156R001100050001-0 25 25 25 25 25 Approved For ReleasS03/09/04( 19P83-00156R001100001-U .SUBJECT: DDA R&D Panel, Ranking of FY 1982 RD&E Proposals 0 3.
