At the USIB meeting on 24: July, the Board noted the attached report and you stated that you would advise the Special Group of the report at the Group's next meeting. 2. The following data brings the report up to 28 July which is t1E latest information available: a. The official report on the period 18-24 July shows that 8 missions have flown. b. Area coverage, 18-24 July, in 1hotography with 25% or less cloud cover amounted to 73%, mainly due to the fact that weather conditions improved substantially after 20 July. c. "Island coverage as feasible" was satisfactory. Only 7 targets were not covered. d. "Coverage of highest priority targets" was also satisfactory. Only Holguin and Banes were missed. e. Preliminary reports of the coverage obtained on 25, 26, 27, and 28 July indicate that the area coverage will con- tinue over 70% and both Holguin and Banes have now been covered twice.
