"The goals for OCS savings in terms of increased ADP
productivity and efficiency to be realized through the full
conversion of present hardware at third generation equipment
are to be achieved from FY 68 onward. Therefore, during
the critical period of conversion OCS will iMKa require an
thncrease in dollars and manpower; however, a dramatic cost
reduction per-unit-of-work processed on OCS computers is
expected in the years to follow. Subsequent Agency ADP savings
that are achieved in the interim will continue to accrue in
the customer offices which are served by OCS."
