details see Case 8586, and Para 4 of Memo NH-261, !. Jan 55, Subject: Case 16786.
Probably taken in 1954.
Picture 3: Yong dzin ling-rin-po-che is the phonetic writing of the Tibetan
c aracters above. It is not a proper name, but means the private spiritual
tutor (of the Dalai Lama). Date and place unknown.
Picttire 4: Dardo Rimpoche is the lama's name. The Tibetan characters are the
name or the Purification By Fire ceremony. Date and place unknown.
Picture 5: Lama Kamapa of Tsurphu. He is of the Kagyupa Sect. Date and place
i in mown.
Picture 6: "Late" Lama Khangsar Rimpoche of Gormang College in Depung Monastery.
siou be remembered that this lama isn't really dead, as he is reincarnated
in a new-born (although they may not have located the child yet).

1920's sometime. The women would still dress the same way.
