I wish to take this opportunity to convey the thanks of the
class members, and the staff and faculty of the United States
Army Special Warfare School for the very authoritative, and
extremely interesting and informative presentation made by
Mr. John Richardson to the Senior Officer Counterinsurgency
and Special Warfare Orientation Course on 3 June 1964. Mr.
Richardson's knowledge, combined with his varied assignments
and vast personal experiences, made this presentation one of
the highlights of the program.
Our next Senior Officer Course will be presented during
the week of 27-31 July 1964. We would again appreciate having
Mr. Richardson return to assist us in accomplishing the instruct-
ional mission. If you can approve such a request, we should
like to have Mr. Richardson speak on the morning of 29 July
between 0730-0900 hours. Speakers such as this significantly
enhance the conduct of the class to this high level group and
achieve the most credible, effective instruction.
