practice. Some of these trains were observed at the Wittenberg railroad
station en route to the Magdeburg railroad district. Entraining of other
units was seen at the Wismar and Hagenow railroad stationso

4, Com ntr The observations indicate that large contingents of the
Arty Brig of the IV Arty Corps from Prora conducted firing practice
in the Wustrow area.
5 Comment The troop trains carried tank firing details of the 9th Gds
v ck to Neustrelitz and firing details of the 25th Tank Div to Te:.nplin,
The details moved from Neustrelitz and Templin to .I~.ldensleben on 20 and
23 July 1954 respectively,,
6. F---LQommnt, The troop
train possibly carried armored personnel carriers s ecar? motorcycles
of a guard unit of the Hq GSFG to Letzling Heath for combat firing
practices. The troop trains on 2 August 1954 carried tank units which
probably belonged to the 63d Gds Tank Regt of the 10th Gds Tank Div.
