1. During the morning; on 12 June 1954,4of'f icers and 15 ! wearing an
uwdete ned service color were engaged in surveying in a meadow
which formerly belonged to the southwestern section of Hagenow
airfield. This is an old Gorman field, which now is under oul ti gyration,

nd eviously several artillery survey section had been
observed at the field < About noon on the me days surveying was under
way in the southeastern ss etion of v e field, Two Soviet Air Force
officers were also present at the field and followed' thr work with
interest but did not actually participate in it themselves.
2. On 15 June, the 2 air force officers and 5 army officers appeared at the
field and inspected the formmer' field areas part of which had been
used as training grounds and was covered with fire trenches, one-man holes
and dugouts a At these spots the team stopped and talked about the
