Remarks: I stopped by yesterday afternoon to
thank Joe Bartlett, Reading Clerk of the House of
Representatives, for his thoughtfulness and
courtesy in forwarding 15 additional copies of the
Con ressional Record of March 23 to us. I was
able to ascertain that he considers himself an old
friend of the Director's and mentioned that there
had been instances where his office was able to
assist the Director in legislative matters per-
taining to the Polaris Program. He speaks with
very fond affection for the Director and is him-
