Troops with 10 light machine guns, lined up in a row at the target range
just west of the maim guardhouse, were seen firing at practice targets under

2,, On L February, the Infanterie Kaserna on Dresdenerstrasse quartered about
2,000 troops vkio wore red bordered black epaulets, mostly witil.. tank insignia
About 60 officers were observed among the troops. No training activity was
noticed in and around the billeting; area at the end of January, but about
180 troops, including some with tank insignia, v!ere observed engaged in field
training, with rifles in the .municipal forest south of the city on 4 February,,
