are continuing to withdraw. They have concluded their withdrawal,
although grate are some press stories reporting that they have done so.
About 2, SOO U. S. personnel remain in Cambodia at this time.

we sent an interim reply to Ambassador U agar on Thai intentions in
supporting the Cambodian Government. We said we would interpose
no objection to That Air Thrce assistance, flying from bases in Thailand

could and would be released on request. We said that providing
