Kissinger SUBJECT: Actions on Cambodia The following is a report on actions taken or underway on Cambodia through 6 z00 p.m.. June Z5. Military 22orations U. S. and ARVN ground operations in enemy base areas continued with only light and scattered resistance. State Dept. review completed -- In the Fish Hook area, allied forces are continuing their withdrawal as scheduled. -- The Vietnamese Air Force completed the helicopter lift of TANK reinforcements to Kompong Thom on June Z4, and enemy pressure there has eased. OSD REVIEW COMPLETED. An ARVN Task Force is providing security for the movement o refugees from Northeast Cambodia to South Vietnam. As of last night, nearly 4, 000 had been transported. -- Air and sea operations were routine. Third Count Militar Forces in Su rt of Cambodia: ON-FILE NSC RELEASE INSTRUCTIONS APPLY The first two 1, 000 man packs for Thai Khmer trainees are now in Thailand. The remaining two packs will be shipped next week. Military Assistance: 1ftkipment deliveries (past 24 hours). U. S. equipment: none. The aircraft will improve the mobility of Embassy personnel, and provide a limited photographic reconnaissance capability.
