FROM: HENRY A. KISSINGER
SUBJECT: Report of Actions on Behalf of the President
Since my last report on May 22, I have taken action on your behalf on
the following:
1. Export of Gleason Machinery to the Soviet Union
Informed Secretary Stans that he may issue licenses for the export
of gear-making machines for truck manufacture to the Soviet Union,
and $64 million in truck manufacturing facilities not related to the
Kama River project. (#28832, May 28)
2. Review of Nuclear Test Ban Policy
Issued NSSM 128 directing a review of U. S. policy with respect to
underground nuclear testing. (#28538, June 4)
3. Korean-Forces in South Vietnam
Approved the issuance of NSDM 113 on Republic of Korea forces in
South Vietnam. (#29633, June 23)
$20 Million for India from FY 1971 Funds
Approved an additional $20 million in aid to India from FY 1971
funds. (#29624, June 23)
