1. IF NEITHER OF THE FORD LADIES GO ON THE FAR EAST
PRESIDENTIAL TRIP NEITHER WILL MRS. KISSINGER. HOWEVER,
IN THAT CASE SHE WOULD PLAN TO MEET THE SECRETARY IN JAPAN
AND TRAVEL TO PEKING WITH HIM. WE SHOULD PLAN TO HAVE HER
GO ON THE SECRETARY'S PLANE WHEN IT TAKES THE SECRETARY'S
STAFF TO JAPAN FOR THE FOLLOW-ON PRC VISIT. CAN YOU
GIVE US AN IDEA OF WHEN THAT PLANE WILL DEPART THE US?

1. If neither of the Ford ladies go on the Far East
Preside#itial trip neither will Mrs. Kissinger. However,
in that case she would plan to meet the Secretary in Japan
and travel to Peking with him. We should plan to have her
go on the Secretary's plane when it takes the Secretary's
staff to Japan for the follow-on PRC visit. Can you
give us an idea of when that plane will depart the US?
