SUBJECT: Reported Strike Against Cuba
Havana radio is reporting that a commando group coming from
"the north" Tuesday night attacked a small fishing village on Cuba's
northeastern coast. According to the reports, the group machine-
gunned the village of Boca de Sama in Oriente Province from two
speed boats before heading back out to sea. Two Cubans allegedly
were killed and four injured in the attack. The broadcast blamed
the attack on "the government of the U. S. and its henchmen. "
CIA as yet has no additional information on the incident. FBI is
checking its sources in Miami with regard to the activities of exile
groups in the area but also had no reports on an exile operation in
progress.
