I have reviewed the Sit Room's file of
Graham Martin backchannels from Rome
1970-73. These are tie only ones of interest.
I have clipped the more titillating passages.
The 1972 election business is only partially
reflected in these cables. Much of it was
formally 40 Committee business. Perhaps
Rob Roy could go through his materials and
cable traffic.
I have started going through the Saigon
traffic, which is voluminous.
