Aubrac Visa Case
You wanted to raise the Aubrac visa problem discreetly with
Under Secretary Irwin. As you will recall, the basic problem is
that Aubrac is on the "DPT-1" list. You may want to ask
Mr. Irwin to find out why Aubrac is on this list. Winston Lord's
memo on the problem is attached at Tab I.

Caribbean Bauxite Situation
You wanted an urgent study of the bauxite situation as it will affect our
interests in the Caribbean and elsewhere. A draft request to the Under
Secretaries Committee for such a study is on your desk. You had
indicated that before issuing it you wanted to talk with Secretary Rogers.
You might wish to take this opportunity to discuss it briefly with Mr. Irwin.
