SUBJECT: Disclosure of U. S. Classified Military Infor'mation to
Foreign Governments and International Organizations
In response to my request of November 6, 1970, to the addressees
of this i'nex orandun-i, there was general concurre:^cc in the -fropo e 1
issuance of a revised policy statement on this subject, along the
lines of the, draft which was circulated.
The Department of Defense proposed certain changes, however,
which are reflected in the attached revised draft, with suggested
deletions in brackets, and additions underlined. I would appreciate
receiving from each of you by April 1, 1971, your views and
comments on the changes proposed.
