THE SECRETARY OF DEFENSE
THE DIRECTOR OF CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE
SUBJECT: Status Reports on Operations in
Laos and Cambodia
My m morandum of February 9, 1971 requested two daily

by South Vietnamese forces in Laos and Cambodia. It has been
determined that a single report which reaches the White House
Situation Room by 4:00 p.m. daily, including Saturdays and
ys, will satisfy the President's rremenlts. The
submission from Defense used not duplicate routine 1CC
reports.
This now reporting procedure is effective as of February 12, 1971.
