SUBJECT: Report of a Possible Succession Pact Between
President Balaguer and Juan Bosch of the Dominican
Republic
Bebe Rebozo sent you a report
that there is a "Pact of Succession"
between President Balaguer of the Dominican Republic and Juan
Bosch, former President and leader of the opposition Dominican
Revolutionary Party (PRD). The Pact supposedly would allow
Balaguer to finish his term in peace and in return allow Bosch to
assume the presidency in the next election.
