COVERING THE HIGHEST PRIORITY TARGETS NOT REPORTED IN THE
MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH. VIETNAM EDITION
TARGETS ARE ARRANGED IN THE OAK BY SUBJECT LAND WITHIN EACH
SUBJECT BY ,COMOR TARGET ,NUMBER.- TARGETS OF OPPORTUNITY:
OBSERVED DURING THE OAK REPORTING PERIOD ARE LISTED
NUMERICALLY UNDER THE-APPROPRIATE SUBJECT AFTER THE LISTING
OF COMOR TARGETS. LOCATIONS OF TARGETS IN THIS REPORT

THE PLESETSK MISSILE AND SPACE CENTER IS IMAGED ON
3 OF? PROGRAMMED PASSES OF PHOTOGRAPHY. HOWEVER, INTERPRETATION
IS LIMITED ON ALL THREE PASSES BY SCATTERED CLOUDS. NONE OF THE
FACILITIES AT THE EASTERN END 0F THE CENTER ARE COVERED. LAUNCH
SITE 16 IS CONFIRMED AS A DUAL PAD SITE SIMILAR TO LAUNCH SITE 21.

FIVE CONFIRMED AND 1 PROBABLE, TYPE IIID SITES ARE NEWLY IDENTIFIED
AT THE KOZELSK ICBM COMPLEX. ALL ARE IN THE PREVIOUSLY IDENTIFIED
GROUP, WHICH NOW HAS 9 SITES.
THE CURRENT NUMBER OF ICBM LAUNCHERS AT THE 24 KNOWN DEPLOYED
COMPLEXES (THE FIGURES SHOWN IN PARENTHESIS INDICATE THE NUMBER
OF POSSIBLE LAUNCHERS AND ARE NOT-INCLUDED IN THE TOTALS) IS

ERECTORS ARE CONFIRMED AT EACH OF THE 8, LAUNCH POSITIONS. AT
TRIAD 2, BUILDING C, WORK IS PROGRESSING ON THE PEDESTAL
STRUCTURE' BUT IT CANNOT BE DETERMINED WHETHER CONSTRUCTION HAS
STARTED ON THE ANTENNA. CONSTRUCTION IS ALSO CONTINUING AT
MOSKVAABM LAUNCH COMPLEX E31. A,PREVIOUSLY,UNIDENTIFIED
FACILITY REPORTED ATAWROVSKIN THE MOSKVA AREA IS NOW

MISSILE ACTIVITY IS OBSERVED. TWO MISSILES ARE ON LAUNCHERS
AND THREE ARE ON TRANSPORTERS IN THE MISSILE HANDLING FACILITY.
CONSTRUCTION OF CANOPIES OVER THE DOLLY POSITIONS AT 3
LAUNCH POSITIONS IS OBSERVED FOR THE FIRST TIME AT THE
NIZHNYAYA TURA. PROBABLE LONG RANGE SAM LAUNCH COMPLEX.
AN AIR WARNING RADAR FACILITY ASSOCIATED WITH THE KIEV
PROBABLE LONG RANGE SAM LAUNCH COMPLEX IS NEWLY IDENTIFIED.
WU-SHA-TA-LA SAM SITE A15-2, LOCATED NEAR THE WU-SHA-TA-LA
AIRFIELD, CHINA, IS COMPLETE AND THE 6 POSITIONS CONTAIN
SA-2 LAUNCHERS. SIX. COVEREDSA-2 MISSILE TRANSPORTERS ARE
LOCATED NEAR THE LAUNCH POSITIONS. OTHER EQUIPMENT OBSERVED
INCLUDES .A FAN SONG RADAR, 7 TRUCK,VANS1-9,VAN TRAILERS, 10
TRACKED PRIME MOVERS, 3 PROBABLE CANISTER TRANSPORTERS, 6
SETS OF BOGIE WHEELS, AND AT 'LEAST '6 MISSILE CANISTERS.
ALL VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT HAVE BEEN BROUGHT TO THE SITE

AT SEVERODVINSK SHIPYARD 402, THE 402/A-,55 (FORMERLY REPORTED
AS A U-BALLISTIC MISSILE SUBMARINE) HAS MOVED FROM THE
FITTING-OUT QUAY INTO THE-ESTUARY::AND THE 402/B-,SS (PREVIOUSLY
REPORTED AS AN UNIDENTIFIED LARGE SS) REMAINS IN THE LAUNCH
BASIN. THE LATTER VESSEL.IS APPROXIMATELY' LONG
WITH A, 135-FOOT SAIL, AND OTHERWISE RESEMBLES iHt
AT THE PING-HSIANG COMPLEX, CHINA, NUMEROUS VEHICLES AND PIECES
OF EQUIPMENT ARE OBSERVED THROUGHOUT THE AREA, INCLUDING 973
TRUCKS, 82 SMALL UTILITY TRUCKS, 21 VEHICLES/PIECES OF
EQUIPMENT, 20 UNIDENTIFIED PIECES OF EQUIPMENT, AND 6 PROBABLE
MORTARS.
STATUS OF TARGET READOUT
THIS OAK REPORTS ON 43 COMOR TARGETS, .1 NON-COMOR TARGET, AND
1 BONUS TARGET.
