1. Jack Anderson Co~,entary is a regular radio feature which
casts about 3-5 minutes in ~~ieh Jack asks a celebrity questions
about current events. It is carried locally on i:,RC (~~3C affiliate)
and aired Twice daily, usually around noon and repeated again in the
early evening. The program is also carried by some 300 radio stations
affi 7 i ated wi tah the Mutual Oroadcas ti ng Caapany.
2. You will be interviewed by Howard Rosenberg ~~ho works on
Jack Anderson's staff. ire t~sill ask tz'~e questsons that will 6e rater
repeated by Anderson with your answers.
3. dir. ?tvsenberg states that he does not wish to c~et into
controversial areas; promises he will not be argur~ntative and
assures rye t3~e questions will not 6e altered by Anderson. E3e did,
ho~rever, state that he will ask you topical questions about such
things as the need for. clandestine services; dour thoughts on the
secrecy agreement; opinion of. the Snepp and Stockwell books and
wt;ether technology is taking over fro~a human collection. Judging
from tha tenor of our conversation, I think it gill be a good
opportunity for a stronger need for protecting secrets and the
continued nedd for a stronger CIA.
