U.S. intelligence officials are con-
vinced that the Soviet Union will not
send any more troops into Afghani-
stan for at least two months-to avoid
an international furor that might spur
more nations into pulling out of the
Moscow Olympics, due to end in ear-
ly August_

vinced that if Carter is re-elected, one
of his first moves will be to fire Di-
rector Stanfield Turner of the Cen-
tral Intelligence Agency. Cited as the
chief reason: Turner, a retired Navy
admiral, has been unable to get along
