George Bush, the CIA Director-
designate now serving as U.S.. envoy
in Peking, is being urged by friends
to talk to the President during his
China visit about another top-level
job. They fear a divisive fight in the
Senate over Mr. Bush's confirmation
to the CIA post because of his politi-
cal background and ambitions.
