SUBJECT: "Introduction to Physical Security and
Industrial Security" Course
1. The Physical Security training course will be held at
from 15-26 October 1984. The purpose of
this basic level course is to give the students an introduction
to the philosophy and concepts of physical security. It is
intended for professional security officers entering the
physical security discipline for the first time. Six days will
be devoted primarily to Domestic and Headquarters Security
concerns and four days for an overview of our Industrial
Security program. Special Accesses are required for
the Industrial Security Program portion of this course.
2. Please distribute a notice to have all interested
individuals complete Form 73, Request for Training, in its
entirety and forward it to your office. We would like to limit
the class to students and have registration end by COB 5
October 1984. Attached is a copy of last year's training
notice which is basically the same.
3. Details regarding the agenda and other information is
available through Physical Security Division representatives
