"Human Body Science" - this new doncept is put forward by our country's
famous scientist comrade Qian Xue-seri. It relates to a scientific system
which in the entire scienctific technology field, besides the three major
branches of natural science, mathematics, and sociology, is a newly developing
major area. Human body science studios the capacity of the body, the way to
further develop the latent capacity ofthe body, and the development of human
potential. The entire chinese medicine theory, qigong (system of deep
breathing exercises), and the body's peculiar capacity are the keys to develop
this study.
Man, although living in this technologically flourishing twentieth
century, does not understand himself at all. The hidden powers of the body
are still not fully understood. These powers in the past seems to be only
referred to in fairy tales. But now step by step they are discovered in real
live. Of course, this is only the begining. As comrade Qian Xue-sen said,
"What people referred to in the past as 'supernatural' is really not from
their imagination. If the results of the human body science's studies are
used to train people, so that the latent human power is tapped, then a higher
level will be reached. Not only can human be saint but can then really be
'supernatural'!" One can imagine that, once man fully discover and tap the
latent capacities of its body, we would appear to these future man like the
primitive tribes appear to us now!
Qian Xue-sen points out "The detail study of human body science will
sufficiently change the human understanding and ability to alter nature, which
will benefit mankind." "This may lead to a new scientific revolution in the
twenty-first century. It will cause be an even greater scientific revolution
than the study of nuclear energy at the beginning of the twentieth century."
"It will definitely cause the second renaissance and a new leap forward of the
history of mankind." Therefore, he earnestly declared, " We are making
history!"
This new field of human body science attracted a large group of our
country's older scienctists. For example, Xiao Zhong-qian Wang Jin-chang, Bei
Shi-zhang etc. It also attracted 4he world's attentation. More and more
technicians and other leaders of their fields are participating in this work
with utmost enthusiasm. For several years, our country has made big strides
in the human body science research and obtained quite gratifying results.
This not only caused great reaction iti the country but also received attention
internationally. The only regret is that the treatise on this subject is up
to now blank. We publish "The Establishing of the Human Body Science" in
order to present the results, to promote the further development of human body
science research, and thus to contribute to this vast project.
This work is arranged in three main sections - exploration of the theory,
summarizaton and review, and experiments and research. the exploration of the

theory section expound on the concept of human body science, its character,
its status, the categories and methods; of research, and other subjects. This
basically includes all of comrade Qiah Xue-sen discourses relating to this
subject up to now. The experiments pection concentrates on the results of
different types of experiments and i.quiries since the beginning of our
country's research in human body science. These experiments included areas of
qigong's capacity and body's peculiar; capacities. The latter is further
divided into topics of superfine feelings (ESP), extended touches (PK),
distintive radiation, etc.
This work is the first of "The Establishing of the Human Body Science"
series. According to comrade Qian'Xue-sen's suggestion, there will be
continue publications of second part, third part, and so on. We feel
infinitely gratify that we can offer this work to the public and to the
pioneers of history.
This work is compiled by the sectietary of the Chinese Human Body Science
Institue, Zhu Run-long, and the committee director, Zhu Yi-yi. We sincerely
thank the Institue's president, comrade Zhang xxxxxxxx. He has given
tremendous support to the publication Of this work.
