Dear Dr. Puthoff,
(S/NF/WNINTEL) This letter is to notify you officially that
the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command CENTER LANE
Project was deactivated on 7 March 1985. Concurrent with the
deactivation, the CENTER LANE resources were attached to the
Defense Intelligence Agency pending final transfer action,
additionally, action was initiated to discontinue the Special
Access Program that protected CENTER LANE information.
(S/NF/WNINTEL) Your office is authorized to retain
classified material that was compartmented Linder the CENTER LANE
Special Access Program for use in any follow on Department of
Defense psychoenergetics research and development: programs. The
unclassified CENTER LANE nickname should not be associated with
unclassified nicknames of new program.
(C) The association of the undersigned with U.S. Army
Intelligence is classified CONFIDENTIAL.
