SECRET Approved For Release 20@?( :LCAI-R13P96-00792R0001001400 NO FOREIGN DISSEMINATION LTC Brian Buzby Department of the Army Security Support Detachment USAINSCOM, 902D Military Intelligence Group Fort George G. Meade, Maryland 20755 941/CL-0013 This document contains 2 pages. Copy No. CLASSIFIED BY: CENTER LANE Security Classification Guide dated 1 March 1983 Declassify on: OADR (S/CL-3/NOFORN) I thought that I would provide you with a status report with regard to the screening/selection task. (1) Our major consultant, Dr. David Saunders, now has the WAIS results for 6 calibrated remote viewers who were part of our IEEE published data base. (2) We also have collected the WAIS results for 13 other remote viewers who are currently participating in on-going remote viewing programs. We will be obtaining RV calibrations for these people throughout the year. (3) We are obtaining the results from 1300 responses obtained during a nation-wide RV/psychological test that appeared in Omni magazine. The psychological questions were developed by Saunders for Mr. Stephan Schwartz, the program director. (4) We have arranged for a three-fold laboratory cooperative effort (SRI, Princeton, Mobius) to analyze the RV results in a statistically meaningful way and to correlate the 1300 responses with the results of Saunders' psychological analysis. Since Saunders developed the "self report" questions on the basis of his general knowledge of the PAS, we are fortunate to have such a large database with which to work. (5) Under another program, we are modifying Dean Robert Jahn's RV judging procedure to fit more closely our form of remote viewing. The statistical output of this procedure, which is available to us, allows quantitative results to be calculated for each RV response. This is necessary to allow meaningful correlations with the results of the psychological analysis. CENTER LANE SPECIAL ACCESS PROGRAM. NLP has received a lot of public attention lately, and Dr. Lantz will help us determine which claims, if valid, might be applicable to our problem.
