SUBJECT: Draft Task Statement for NRC in Anticipation of
Request for Military Liaison Support
Enclosed is a draft task statement for NRC on this
Congressionally directed study which we discussed last week
on the phone. I don't know how realistic it is to expect all
this in three months and I will do everything I can to get
the program transfer deadline of 1 July extended. I realize
this could impact both you and the NRC and will do everything
I can to mitigate that impact. In the mean time, tell me
what you think. Since you've been down this road before, I
am eager to hear your advice. I also will be very dependent
on your cooperation. Give me a call when you've had a chance
to review the draft.
