SUBJECT: PAG-TA Monthly Activity Report - August 1993 (U)
1. (U) Personnel:
- Action taken to update all Activity SF-52's, and
position descriptions. Action to be completed NLT
10 Sep 93.
- Activity TDA authorization reduced from 11 to 10
positions at NMIPC direction.
2. (U) Administration:
- Zero base review of Activity files completed.
- Coordination effected with DIA physical security for
removal and destruction of classified and nonpulpable
material from our facility.
- Activity functional file system established.
- Game plan for move to Building 2845 updated. With the
transfer of FT. Meade from FORSCOM to MDW, we have been
advised that our move from our present facilities will
not occur until Jan 94. On-going dialogue with Ft.
Meade/DIA points of contact continuing. A letter has
been drafted requesting cost estimates to renovate our
new facility will allow us to store classified material
at the SCI level. This will allow us to have HIGGINS
and access to SAFE at Ft. Meade. Copies of the letter
will be furnished to Post and DIA points of contact in
early September.

(Introduction t&G ructure Query Language (SQL)).
- 26-27 Aug 93: completed the Contracting for
Contracting Officer s Representatives course.
4. (U) Travel: SG1J
- Due to sickness, was unable to attend the
annual Parapsych ociation meeting in
Toronto, Canada.
- FY 94 Activity travel plan was drafted. Will be
forwarded to PAG in early September.
5. (U) Transportation/Logistics:
- No change from August 93.
- Activity facilities continue to be "spruced up".

- 17 Aug 93: Responded to NMIPC tasker #93-022793, subject:
Request for letter on "STAR GATE". Background letter and
covering letter providing updated program status for key
Congressional staffers forwarded thru PAG/PA to PC for Mr.
Berbrich's signature.
- 17 Aug 93: Met with key U.S. Army personnel of the Target
Exploitation Division to discuss Activity Program.
Division Chief (Adam Henritzy) is amenable to working with
us. Program briefing for Commanders of the FIC/FIA and
their senior operations personnel is to be scheduled for
mid-September 93.
- 18 Aug 93: chaired the monthly, interagency
Scientific and Technical Intelligence Subcommittee -
Collection (STIC-C) meeting. Meeting minutes published

- 23 Aug 93: Forwarded to DAP-4 a modified statement of
work (SOW) for the $24K contract add-on to provide this
Activity with an electronic data base to support
intelligence assessment activities and a viewer
certification program.
- 25 Aug 93: Briefed Deputy Director, PA and Director, PG
on program.
- 30 Aug 93: Prepared Activity response to FSTC article on
- 31 Aug 93: Conducted an in-depth review on operations
(in-house investigations). Results include development
of an FY94 training plan, briefing, and drafting of
protocols for operations and personnel selection.
- Two additional designated projects completed. To date
six projects have been completed. One additional
report provided to requestor and to PAG in August 93.
- FY 94 Activity production plan is being developed.
