(U) During the month of Nov., 93 I engaged in the following
activities:
1. (C/NF) Participated in contract review activities with SAIL:
a. Discussed future contract status and direction;

c. Formalized design for electronic intelligence
database design.
3. (C) Attended a classified conference, sponsored by Los
Alamos National Labs, on non-lethal warfare/technology at the
Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab in Laurel, MD. to gain broad
exposure to the non-lethal area and to make professional contacts
in the field. Prepared conference report.
4. (C/NF) Recommended to Activity Chief that, in light of DIA's
changing mission, reduced resources, and PAG-TA's uncertain
future, that we seek to have our mission expanded to include
those areas of non-lethal technology/warfare which can modify
human behavior and psychological functioning (including psyops)
and that my role as SIO be expanded to include primary
responsibility for those areas. Drafted a revised mission
statement integrating these areas into our current mission.
