- 21 Jan 94: Briefed the Honorable Under
Secretary of the Navy on STAR GATE. SAR published
regarding briefing. As per his request a follow-on read
package was provided on 31 Jan 94. His Marine Corps aide
was also briefed on STAR GATE. Follow-on briefings with
the Secretary of the Navy, Commandant of the Marine Corps
and the Chief of Naval Operations maybe requested.
- 27 Jan 94: Met with representatives from USAINSCOM's
Army Central Control Office regarding a sworn statement
which provides information on a formerly assigned
military member of this Activity. It appears that this
current military member may have provided uncleared
personnel with details about this Activity while assigned
to this element. The undersigned reviewed the sworn
statement and advised that parts of it were classified.
Outcome is that the representatives from the 902d MI
Group will meet with him and he will be advised that he
should not talk "out of school" with uncleared personnel.
Members of the Central Control office were briefed on
STAR GATE. There is a strong possibility that the
military officer may be assigned to the DIA in the
future.
31 Jan 94: Two copies of the proposed research and peer
review plan were provided to PAG for forwarding to PA
