) RESULTSr.
a. ) The targets were the, "Pigeon Towers o+
Isfahan, Iran", large conical shaped sandstone structures built in
the 17th Century to collect natural fertilizer from roosting
pigeons. The towers dot the flat farm fields and are mostly
deserted at this time. Resembling hugh children's beach bucket
sand castles, the structures are essentially a large round
structure with round conical shaped roosts protruding from the top.
b. ) Source correctly identified the "round and
C:: ircular" component of the target in early descriptive, as well as
the "awesome, big, massive" size aspect of the objects.
Additionally, the early descriptive focused on an open feeling
around the site, the "oldness" of the target and the quiet nature
of the location. Finally, the sun became relevant to the target as
did a concept of statuary which may have been an AOL impression
driven by the unusual appearance of the target.
c.C ) Perhaps as a result of an initial series of
impressions beginning with "quiet, light shining and statues", the
concept seem to evolve into a target with definite religious
overtones. This ulfiKAnclicial image seem to begin with "art"
(perhaps driven by the earlier impression of statues) and quickly
moved from there to a series of general gestalts which were more in
keeping with the Vatican rather than these quiet grain fields and
pigeon roosts in Isfiahan. This AOL drive continued for the
remainder of the session, however, "correct" components continued
to bleed through Source's pre determined analytic "identification"
of the actual target. Some of these "bleed throughs" included,
"animals", "grass", "trees", and "naturalness", all of which hardly
fit into the scheme of things at the mental image location of the
Vatican drawn in Source's mind.
ci, C ) Had not Source taken the common step of "left
braining" an unusual site, the descriptive provided which were not
religious in nature would have been faultless. It was only when
Source permitted her finely tuned analytic mind to interfere that
the session results became skewed. However, since there was a good
deal of limited success mixed with as much failure, the session was
I n +act a valuable instructional tool.
