Statue of Daibutsu
Great Buddha, located in the
temple of Kotoku, at Kamakuka, Japan. This statue is 42 feet
in height and weighs 103 tons. The interior is hollow and has
a staircase that reaches to the figure's shoulders.
The Buddha is in a seated
position, resting on a pedestal resembling an open lotus
flower. The statue is located outdoors on the temple grounds.

SUMMARY OF INFORMATION
The target site is a large, isolated, open area, a long way
from where people are (any city). It is very clear here and very
quiet. Everything appears light colored and there is a strange
smell. The site is important to men. The site consists of a
large, metal object, which is raised up and has a structure
beneath. The object is long, rounded/ ovalish/ curved.
Associated with the object is the feeling of subtle motion. The
object is the most important component of the site and moves very
smoothly but one doesn't see it doing it very often.
People here stay inside the structure, they don't seem to
like to go outside. The location of the object/structure was
decided upon, which took a long time. Isolation is important
somehow, like the object/structure has to be kept by itself.
Associated with the function of the site is the idea of
gathering like (A/S) something is being collected or pulled in.
One of the people inside is a very cheerful man, with a
thick, brown beard and longish bristly hair. He is large (5'11'-
6 ft.), and slightly chubby. He works here and is in charge. His
main function is to oversee things. He is extremely personable

and all the people here like him. He interacts well with
outsiders also.
His style of leading is very successful. He never really
tells his people what to do, but somehow they do everything
they're supposed to willingly and cheerfully. There are alot of
tasks here which the people have to do but don't consider
important even though they are important
bureaucratically/administratively. He gets people to do these
things solely on the basis of his personality. It's like he
tells them, these things have to be done and we don't like it,
but hey, lets just work together, laugh and get it knocked out.
The work here has almost a dual aspect. Half is for show
(the part the people don't like), the other half is what people
care about. This seems to involve individual projects which each
person considers important to themselves but may not be important
to the outside. The leader here respects that and
allows/encourages this 'side' work. The other purpose, from an
outsiders perspective, the main purpose, involves maintaining
this facility/object and keeping it going. It's like this is
'for show' (confusion here as to whether the site itself was for
show, like a cultural apex or whether things at the site were for
show.) The people are wearing similar, white, short sleeved,

open collar shirts.
Inside the structure, the rooms have unusual shapes: lots of
curves, few angles.
