SUMMARY OF INFORMATION:
1. (S/NF/SK) Describe t_he Purpose of the ._.,ar?._clet......site. There were
repeated and strong impressions that the target site is used for the
manuf acture/prods C-'ti on of specific chemicals . The process is one of
repeatedly changing chemicals from one form to another until the desired
chemical formula is achieved. One part of the process appears to depend on
reactions changing phenyl k::etoni. cs to a form of phenyl ami fie, then to a
chemical very similar to (if not actually) phenol barb itol.
2. The place, as well as the manufacturing process has both a legal and an
illegal side. The production setup appears to be legal, but a "piggyback:"
operation appears to be taking place, where extra chemicals are brought in
as raw materials, resulting in extra amounts of end products which are
"skimmed off" and not accounted for. These extra end products go into the
illegal market.
