TASKING: "Describe target objects and their activities"
NOTE:: To prevent the confusion which always comes from being tasked with
multiple targets in multiple locations, l requested that the monitor change
the tasking from "objects" (plural) to "object." (singular). Tasking a
singular object does not prevent perception of multiple objects at one
location, whereas tasking multiple targets and locations will always cause
tremendous confusion of perceptions.
1. There are more than one of the targeted objects, moving (apparently)
west to east in a slow, evenly spaced procession during a time of darkness.
2 The individual objects are very massive, slow-moving, and self-
propelled. Each appears to be about the size and weight of a large
fi.retruck, and appears to be carrying something long and thin on its back
(secs Sketch 1). Both the large objects and the objects being carried are
dark olive drab in color. They are very boxy, but have curved edges.
Although the objects move as a group, they stop and deploy
individually, each taking over an hour to do so, and located seemingly
without any sense of order. In order to be used, the large objects must be
stationary, and the smaller objects they carry must be risen to a tilted
angle (see Sketch 2).
4. Each fires in a single direction, but ..as a group, they fire in many
directions, generally ranging from WSW to SE (seep Sketch 3). Elevation
of
firing ranges between 15 and 40 degrees from the horizontal (see Sketch
4).
Firing makes a very reedy, high-pitched sound, rather than a deep roar.
