general information could have been obtained from media reporting.
a. (S/STD) The area periodically has dense vegetation on rolling hills
that surround a man made reservoir.
b. (S/STD) No "water tower" is present in this area although RV 003 may
be visualizing the water slide present at probable residence. SG1A

B) describes numerous structures in the El Penol Lake area.

isolated sheds at every house in the area.

surrounding the target area" is somewhat true. House compounds are generally

separated form adjacent residences and most times are placed at the end of
peninsulas. Further abandonment may reflect the fact that the drug kingpins
are probably seldom in this area due to recent raids by Colombian Police. In
a resort area of the type, "isolated areas" might be expected because the
owners want exclusiveness and privacy.

air." No comment - general knowledge.
