(S/NF/SK) Cuing: "Return to previous site and move to "area 8". a. A singular set of structures was accessed in Area B. There was a feeling that there might be others, but I was drawn to this one set of buildings. One building, in particular held a strong attraction, and I stabilized on it, referring to is as "the main building" (see sketch, top of page 2). b. The main building is in an enclosed work area. Activity is this area is in the form of trucks, hand trucks, dollies, etc. (people carrying goods to and from the main building). Some of this traffic comes in from outside or goes to the outside, but most of it is between the buildings, themselves (see sketch, bottom of page 2). C. The purpose of this building is as a procurement/supply/storage facility for goods destined specifically to tactical'field units. Materiel comes into this building from manufacturers (new) and other line units (used). d. There is a "loading dock/reception counter" area completely inside the main building (see sketch, page 4). Here, goods are processed into and out of the building,. One of the dollies was accessed here, and the f o.l l owi ng equipment was found on it (see sketch, page 6): 2) A piece of test equipment (see also, detailed sketch, p.). This piece is slightly larger than a power drill, and has the same general shape. It is a greyish brown in color, with a shiney band around the front end. The back end of it is recessed, has throw-switches and some indicator lights. 3) A piece of electronic equipment which was not in a box. This NO1= ORN OPTIONAL FORM NO. 10 (REV. 1-80) GSA FPM R (41 CFR) 101-11.6 5010-114 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 piece is an RF receiver, rack mounted, multi-plug, w/indicator lights and a meter (see detailed sketch, page 7). This equipment is not a piece which would be considered an "end--item" (that is, the piece the operator normally works with), but acts as a processor of some sort before the signal gets to the operator. R. In free-flow mode, I was further attracted to a caged-in area centrally located in the building. This area is approximately 15' square, and goes from floor to ceiling. 1) The contents of this area are hidden from sight by large curtains inside the wire cage. 2) Inside are stacks of equipment stored in black plastic, and not labeled. I could only perceive 3 sizes of this equipment. The equipment is measured metrically, but approximation in inches would be: a) Approximate 2 1/2" cube. b) Approximately 2" high X 6" wide X 9" long. W Approximately 4" high X 13" wide X 18" long. 3) All of this equipment is encased in tar, with only plugs for input and output. The components inside the metal cases is also encased in tar. There are no knobs, lights, indicators, dials, or anything else besides the two plugs. The plugs are for coaxial cable connectors. 4) In use, this equipment is used "in-line" (see sketch, page 11), and is intentionally physically hidden, below dash boards of vehicles, panels of stationary equipment, etc. I could find no power supply for it. It is definitely radio equipment. I had strong AOL drive of encipherment, but am convinced that this was AOL on my part, rather than signal line information. oppPRIT NOFORN Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 ?lS" /72 d~ CS rT'rl / 64' ~csh/~-'l 4 I, Ors -c -7-(c J. y3 L 4- 6/' 'L., Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 ~0--, i/C tl~ 1``f Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 0 /1 Uhl' Imo`" sun~~~~p~ L LL~S~ dv~ l ~ 4- J) I It , /00 CoW) 77t la- (C--S Altl~ 4115, Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 SL 0 CA-Aa t 46 ,6 ,mss S `K ?Z L v v ,,~~--w lam` ~- pis- bvT ~ r" 1-2 ()+-~-T? ,// v & Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 12'Z c.T\ - 2C (hS, 4- 6 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 ~ 7r1) 622 Ut PwG Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 o G ~ ~ ,~.. ,rJ P Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 5 6 X67\ ~n- 76 Z ~4 --zr yt C1134-44L 17,10 0) vz---' Sw Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 0 /'n,a ~cSZ ld~l_ G4-7tj 6 tau ft Pb.ca (11`6 C- L) Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000600120001-2 /r-crt 6-"4" / & 3 1 PC--- >J 5 Cf- - S ,1 I GS G1p~ ^ 4 S L. --C-1~ PL-,gr'7zC_ (-,!,)S Ip6 C-- IS c~ t' J W 4 /,,.
