Candlestick Park
(San Francisco, off Highway 101)
Directions: SEE MAP; Take Laurel Street south to Willow Rd.; turn left on Willow Rd.; take Highway
101 North (towards San Francisco); take the Harney Way exit to Candlestick Park; park in the parking
lot; walk around.
Target: The target is Candlestick Park Stadium. Candlestick Park is a large round complex that sits at
the base of a hill on the edge of the San Francisco Bay. The stadium is constructed of cement . From a
distance it looks like a huge gray space ship that has landed. There are very tall orange ball park lights
that tower around the perimeter of the stadium. Stairs zig zag up the sides of the stadium. Inside there
are several levels of seating. The seats are orange and the playing field is green.
