SUMMARY OF INFORMATION:
1. Describe the tars et .site: The site is a relatively quite, dedicated
public place. It has grass and paved walkways. It is situated between a
public thoroughfare and another, more active public area (see overhead
sketch, page 8). The quiet area is separated from the more active area by
trees.
The more active area has a number of large, oddly shaped structures
which can be seen over the trees from the quiet area (see sketch, page 7).
I managed to go into one of the structures. It is very large and open
inside, with long, straight rows of what appear to be counters.
One particular structure is very tall and cylindrical. I could not
tell whether this structure was in the quiet area or the more active area.
It appears to have large blue or green areas which are surrounded by white
lines (one level of these is shown in sketch, bottom of page 1).
2. Describe the key activity at the .target `site: Both areas are public:
access areas. The key activity in the quiet area consists of people
walking, sitting, and being quiet. There is a "nice" feeling about this
area.
The key activity in the more active area consists of a much greater
number of people walking about, looking, riding in low vehicles, and going
between the oddly-shaped structures. There appeared to be many children in
this area. One person was pushing something around which was low and had an
angled handle on it, much the general shape of a lawn mower, but larger
(about the size of a baby carriage).
